What is the Galaxy retrospective?
The Galaxy retro maps the sprint to space: Stars are what shone, Black holes are what sucked up time and energy, and Comets are the brief bright ideas that flew past and deserve another look.

- Stars
- Black holes

When to use it
Use it as a quick themed retro, for teams that love space, or to find hidden time sinks.
Facilitator tip: put a rough number on each black hole, like hours a week lost to it. Time sinks are easy to accept as normal; estimating them makes the cost visible and helps the team choose which one to close first.
How to run it in Peel in 5 steps
- Create a Galaxy board and share the link.
- Write for five minutes.
- Reveal and group the Black holes.
- Vote and discuss the biggest time sinks.
- Catch one Comet and turn it into an action.
