What is the Weather Report retrospective?
The Weather Report retro asks people to describe the sprint as weather: Sunny for what went well, Cloudy for what was unclear or so-so, Stormy for what went badly, and Forecast for what they expect next. Weather is an easy, non-judgemental way to talk about mood and outlook.

When to use it
Use it as a check-in, with new or remote teams, or when you want a gentle, inclusive format.
Facilitator tip: open with a one-word weather check-in from everyone before writing cards. It takes a minute, gives the facilitator a quick read of the room, and makes it natural to talk about mood as well as work during the rest of the session.
