What is the Sprint Timeline retrospective?
The Sprint Timeline retro reconstructs the sprint in three parts: Beginning, Middle and End. Building the timeline together refreshes memories and often reveals when things started to go wrong.
The columns
- Beginning
- Middle
- End
When to use it
Use it after long sprints, when people remember the sprint differently, or before deeper analysis.
Facilitator tip: add stickers to the timeline cards to show how each moment felt. The emotional curve often tells the story better than the events: a dip mid-sprint usually points to the moment a plan changed or a dependency slipped.
